Job description: We are currently partnered with a multinational law firm, that are recruiting for a Contentious Construction Locum to start on an immediate basis for a period of 6 months with possibility of further extension. This role would be worked remotely.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Construction Solicitor, with contentious experience, to work within the busy department of a prestigious law firm.
The successful candidate will be:
- Working alongside another Solicitor as Managing Counsel, to fulfil a contentious construction secondment with the firm’s client – a leading, international business
- Dealing with various disputes in the Post Construction Unit – mainly defects disputes, some with aspects of Building Safety Act/Defensive Premises Act Liability
- Handle a wide-ranging varied caseload of contentious matters
Daily Rate: Negotiable
It is essential that candidates applying for this role have around 6 years PQE experience within Construction. Applications are welcome from both full time and part-time candidates.
