Contracts and Procurement Lawyer – London – Competitive Hourly Salary (DOE) – Remote Working
Position: Contracts and Procurements Lawyer
Organisation: London based Local Authority
Duration: 3 month initial contract
Working Pattern: Full time
Working Arrangement: Remote Working
Hourly Rate: Competitive Hourly Salary (DOE)
Venn Group’s legal team are working with an innovative London based Local Authority to find a Contracts and Procurement Lawyer to join the team on a locum basis.
The ideal candidate for this role will be either a Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Fellow of CILEx with a current practicing certificate, who has experience of handling a varied caseload of contract matters and advising on the Public Contracts Regulations.
Local Government experience is preferable but not essential for this role provided there is significant relevant experience.
Duties shall include:
- Handling and advising on a wide range of Contracts and Procurement work
- Drafting necessary contracts and other legal documents and to provide clear and concise written and oral legal advice
- To work effectively with other colleagues and team members
- To ensure compliance with statutory requirements and best practice
