Credit Analyst - Portfolio Manager

Venn Group are currently recruiting for a Portfolio Manager – Credit Analyst to join an international bank based in London. This contract opportunity will focus on Transportation the ideal candidate will have a background in this area.

This role requires coming on board to work alongside the Head of the Credit team to assist in the designing and drafting of various strategies within the portfolio. The portfolio monitoring will focus on managing various corporate accounts, managing the relations between transactions and borrowers, and producing timely reports at regular milestones throughout. This process may be ad hoc, so will require an individual who is experienced handling a range of numbers of accounts at any one time.

To undertake in-depth financial analysis of, balance sheet, profit & loss (P&L) and cash flow statements in support presentations, in line with best practices, fully liaising where necessary with Relationship Managers, and Product Managers to ensure adequate information flows.

The position will entail changeable working environments, including taking a lead position on redrafting credit documentation.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are required for this role as the candidate is expected to research, prepare, and submit detailed credit reports to the credit department. Additionally, candidates with an ability to adopt a leadership position would be advantageous, often taking responsibility for leading the direction of the teams’ and one’s own workload.

This contract has an immediate start and will involve working within and between various teams within the bank.
