Credit Controller
An exciting position has arisen for a Credit Controller to work for a London based University.
Job duties include:
- Chasing debt and ensuring prompt collection and control of university income
- Maintaining accurate student financial records, investigating cash misallocations
- Negotiating and monitoring instalment plans for student and staff residential lettings
- Reconciling bad debts and issuing Notice to Quits’ where and when appropriate
- Responding to correspondence and questions relating to outstanding residential fees and methods of payment
- Providing a range of financial debt counselling advice and guidance to students with financial difficulties and signposted to appropriate student support services
Specification:
- Experience working within the higher education sector
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in Credit Control
- Ability to demonstrate that you are highly organised and have excellent communication skills
- Confident navigating Microsoft Excel
Job information:
- Hourly rate: £16 - £19
- Interim, with possibility of permanent
- Full-time, interim until the end of October
- Hybrid working pattern: 3 days working in the office & 2 days working from home
- Location: Central London
