Venn Group is currently working with a well-established support provider who is recruiting for a Criminal Justice Recovery Worker to provide comprehensive support to service users and aid in their reintegration to society.

Hourly Rate: £12.80 - £15.00

Location: Berkshire

Duration: 3 months

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00

Job responsibilities:

• Liaise with probation companies and assist in referrals for service users
• Support individuals in the recovery of substance misuse to aid crime reduction, such as promoting attendance of rehabilitation appointments
• Help to develop intervention strategies and deliver groups for treatment and rehabilitation
• Provide comprehensive support throughout an individual’s recovery, including social integration and building resilience
• Oversee a caseload of service users, providing assessment, recovery plans and screening
• Work with clinicians to support substitute prescribing regimes

The successful candidate will have:

• A current enhanced DBS
• Experience working with individuals at risk of criminal conviction and substance misuse
