Customer Insights Advisor (SAR’s) Immediately Required
Duration: Until end of September + Potential extension
Location: Leicester with some remote working (2/3 days office based)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Pay Rate: £20.00 per hour via Umbrella
An opening has arisen for a Customer Insights Advisor to working with a large Housing Association in the East Midlands. Said individual must be immediately available and have a keen eye for detail. Said individual would also have clear experience in a similar post.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Act as first point of contact for the processing of customer subject access requests for PA Housing ensuring responses are accurate, compliant and timely.
- Establish with residents the information and outcome they require from the subject access request and work with the relevant teams to establish if an alternative solution is more appropriate and beneficial. Work closely with the Customer Experience team / Data Protection Officer
- Provide high quality advice and support on the application of information rights law through the scoping and draft redacting of subject access requests
- Work alongside the governance team – in particular the DPO – taking their advice on whether information should be disclosed or refused in compliance with the relevant legislation
- Understand when to defer for legal clarification, further understanding, internal and external consultation and guidance in relation to other legislation which may apply to the disclosure
- Work with the DPO and Governance Team to understand, interpret and apply any relevant tribunal outcomes and information from cases referred to the ICO. Learn from guidance to apply to future subject access requests.
- Assess requests and correspondence to identify any internal and external stakeholders that may be affected by disclosure
- Respond to requests ensuring that all correspondence and associated disclosures are timely, accurate and compliant with legislation, regulations and policies.
- Support the business in internal reviews of responses to subject access requests
- Liaise with the relevant Head of Service / Executive Director where disclosure relates to sensitive matters
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience working in this position
- Previous Proof reading experience
- Keen eye for attention to detail
