A well-established charity is currently recruiting for a Customer Services Team Leader to join their team on a Permanent basis in Wimbledon. This role will focus on managing and ensuring a team of Customer Service Officers deliver high-quality customer service, providing an excellent experience for all
Length of contract: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week on a shift rota including weekends and evenings
Shifts: 8:00am – 4:00pm and 12:00pm – 8:00pm (must be available for both)
Location: Wimbledon
Salary: £29,032.50 per annum
Role responsibilities:
- Manage a team that undertake general administration duties such as providing a telephone switchboard service, sorting post, logging repairs and processing payments
- Provide line management, mentoring and coaching to the staff team, ensuring effective communication, personal and professional development
- Conduct regular supervision meetings and one to ones to help monitor staff performance; identify training needs where necessary
- Work with cross-departmental staff to provide a smooth-running front of house service
- Welcoming new residents, dealing with complaints and reports of anti-social behaviour
- Dealing with any queries from residents, service users and members of the public, reporting concerns or issues as appropriate
- Carry out routine checks of the main public and communal areas ensuring they are welcoming, clean, tidy and risk free
- Ensure that safeguarding processes and procedures are adhered to and reporting any concerns
Essential requirements:
- An Enhanced DBS with the Adults and Children’s lists checked from within the last 3 years or willingness to apply
- Knowledge of working with vulnerable clients with mental health and substance misuse issues
- Proven experience of providing a high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment
