Interim IT Support Technician
Location: Dorset
Hourly Rate: £18.17 an hour via umbrella
Venn Group are currently working with an NHS organisation in Dorset, who are seeking an IT Support Technician to provide temporary support for up to 3 months.
This is a full-time (8am-4pm / 9am-5pm) position working on-site.
The post holder will be responsible for providing second-line support services to service users within the organisation and contribute to the smooth running of the IT departments:
- Ensure staff are able to use IT equipment by minimising equipment or software failures, ensuring requests are answered quickly and efficiently
- Install and repair IT equipment and software, configure IT equipment, troubleshoot minor network issues, and provide advise to end users
- Install software packages, apps and software prior to installation
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, and have relevant experience working in an IT support environment. You will have working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, and be competent in installation, configuration and troubleshooting of IT hardware and software.
