Interim Digital and Social Media Comms Officer Immediately Required
Our client, a well-respected NHS organisation in the South West, is looking for a Digital and Social Media Comms Officer to come on board on a temporary basis for an initial 5 month contract that is likely to be extended.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: 5 Months +
Hourly Rate: £14.35 - £17.62 via Umbrella
Responsibilities:
- Support the Communications Lead Officer to effectively develop, implement and evaluate policies, strategies and objectives relating to marketing communications and branding with a strong focus on digital communications
- Responsible for planning, production and management of content across multiple channels. This includes matching channels, styles and messages to audiences as appropriate, internally and externally
- Help identify and understand the needs of local people to inform change and create marketing campaigns to engage with stakeholders
- Identify segmented audiences and the most appropriate channels in which to reach them, in order to deliver timely, relevant and purposeful engagement and communications activities
- Contribute to the shared goals of the Communications and Engagement team with enthusiasm, innovation and professionalism
- Make best use of digital communications channels to ensure targeted engagement reaches seldom heard groups and communities
- Develop and manage the social media channels, website and other digital channels, with a focus on engagement, brand awareness and reputation management
Essential Skills:
- Demonstrable experience developing engaging communications
- Media management/coordination experience
- Social media content creation and coordination
Desirable Skills:
- Public or third sector experience
