Mental Health Early Intervention Worker
An excellent Support Provider in Bristol are recruiting for an Early Intervention Worker to join their team in delivering recovery and wellbeing opportunities for people who develop psychosis between the age of 14 and 35.

Contract duration: Permanent
Hours: Full time (Monday to Friday 9-5)
Salary: £23,288 to £23,983 (pro rata)

Day to day responsibilities include:
- Work collaboratively together with the service user, their family/carers/friends and mental health and other professionals during any period of acute mental health crisis
- Provide a wide range of interventions to assist with daily health, social care and wellbeing needs, reduce the crisis, building resilience and improving wellbeing
- Work within a recovery and psychologically informed approach, taking a holistic view to support people’s recovery to live fulfilling lives
- Co –produce/update, and implement a crisis plan, relapse prevention and other self-management tools e.g. Wellness Recovery Action Plan, in partnership with service users in line with best practice
- Co-ordinate support, refer and liaise effectively with all professionals, agencies and other parties involved in service user’s support in order to deliver the crisis support package
- Identify, assess, contribute, maintain, feedback and manage risk to ensure risk is minimised
- Have up-to-date safeguarding training and ensure that Safeguarding policies and procedures are fully adhered to
- Enable delivery of the crisis and recovery plans and to enable service users to make informed decisions about their mental wellbeing, maximising their independence and providing advocacy role where appropriate
- Manage caseload, documentation and time effectively, ensuring up to date and clear record keeping
Essential criteria include:
- Proven experience of working with people with multiple needs (e.g. mental health, homelessness, alcohol/drug dependency, rough sleeping)
- Enhanced DBS issued within the last 12 months or on the update service
- Driver with access to own vehicle
