Rate: £265 per day Umbrella (Inside IR35)

Our client is currently looking for a EHCP coordinator to directly support the potential improvement of outcomes for children and young people with special educational needs and disability.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the statutory assessment and plan processes for children and young people with special educational needs as part of a team of coordinators
• Work directly in partnership with parents, children and young people, providers and practitioners to make sure of efficient and effective statutory process that continually improves outcomes for the children and young people
• Promote and facilitate strengths based, person centred approaches and support effective quality assurance processes and evidence-based decision making for consistency and accountability

Requirements:

• A proven background in working in special educational needs and disability (SEND) including the ability to draft EHC Plans and undertake all relevant case work
• Strong work ethic, a commitment to quality and to the importance of every individual in improving outcomes for children and young people, experience in SEND and enthusiasm and skills to help develop a successful new team
