Electrical Estimator / Quantity Surveyor (QS)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a part-time/ temporary basis. This role is ideal for professionals looking for flexibility while providing expert support in cost estimation, pricing, and financial management within electrical projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical projects, ensuring competitive pricing
- Oversee tenders and contracts, assessing feasibility and risk factors
- Conduct cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting for electrical installations
- Manage all financial aspects of projects, ensuring adherence to budgets
- Work closely with contractors, suppliers, and project teams to evaluate costs
- Provide support and advice on procurement, cost control, and value engineering
- Assist in negotiation of contracts and client discussions
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator or QS in LV/HV or building services.
- Strong knowledge of electrical cost estimation, procurement, and tender processes
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
