**New Opportunity – Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response Manager**
Venn Group have a new opportunity for a EPRR Manager to join a large NHS Trust in Kent, please see below;
Job: Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response Manager
Location: Kent
Salary: Band 8A £221.90 PAYE inc holiday pay, or £247.69 via umbrella company
Hours: 37.5 hours
Duration: 3 (potential to extend)
WFH: Onsite working
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Provide high quality and proactive business management support to the MD
- To discharge the 6 key requirements of the Civil Contingencies Act 2004
- To discharge the key elements of Section 252A of the NHS Act 2006 (as amended)
- To comply with the NHS England Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR) Framework
- To comply with the NHS England Core Standards for Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response
- To be responsible for the interpretation of National and Regional EPRR Guidance and assess the implications for the Trust
- To develop Trust EPRR based on the principles of Integrated Emergency Management, Skills for Justice and Joint Emergency Services Interoperability Programme
- To manage the EPRR Budget on behalf of the Trust within the Trust Standing Financial Instructions and prepare cases for additional funding to meet EPRR requirements as necessary
- To review the National, Local Risk Assessments and Trust Business Impact Assessments to ensure that Plans, Capabilities and Mitigations are robust
- To be the principal author of the Trust EPRR Plans, Protocols and Standard Operational Procedures aligned to the prevailing Risks, Threats and Hazards
It is essential that the successful candidate has:
- Knowledge of the emergency planning/business continuity statutory and regulatory framework within the UK (i.e., Civil Contingencies Act 2004)
- PRINCE 2 Practitioner Qualification (or equivalent)
