Estates Project Manager wanted
Location: Bristol
Hours: 37.5 hours a week, Mon – Fri
Length: 3-6 months temporary ongoing
Rate: Competitive
Main responsibilities of the role:
- Project manage a range of works related to fire safety including compartmentalisation
- Progress and co-ordinate actions identified in the Hard FM compliance audit
- Prepare monthly reports to Trust Fire Improvement Group on progress made against the action plan
- Actively support Estates Officers managing service contracts, contractors work activity in the servicing and repair of Hard FM asset
- Complete pre-inspections to specify the works to issue to the contractors
- Monitor the contractors completing the works, ensuring they are working to the specification, on time and to the budget
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders ensuring constant communication throughout stages of each project
- Liaise with the on-site estates departments to ensure a smooth transition of the new facilities
- Create, review and uphold method statements and risk assessments
Essential requirements:
- Experience of managing Estates Projects from cradle to grave
- Ability and experience in building strong working business relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Experience of line managing a small team
