Family Legal Assistant – West Midlands
Legal 500 firm seek a proactive Legal Assistant to join their busy Family department. The firm is open to different levels of candidates and are looking for candidates who are looking to progress their legal career and build upon their experience.
The Role
Within this role, you will be assisting reputable Solicitors with matters concerning public childcare law. You will be required to undertake diary management, time recordings and billing procedures.
Additionally, the role will entail liaising with various parties and preparing court bundles. You will be exposed to various areas of childcare law due to the magnitude of the firm’s client base.
Salary will be negotiable dependent on experience and you will receive benefits such as a paid car parking permit and access to the firms’ pension scheme.
The Firm
The firm is an accredited national and multi-office Legal 500 practice with years of accumulated experience. They offer support through various qualification routes and provide legal services in private client, corporate, conveyancing and employment law to name a few.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months’ experience assisting Family department or other similar law department
- Enthusiastic, can-do attitude with strong communication skills
- Adaptable and innovative
- Able to commit to office based working
