Job Description: We are recruiting for an enthusiastic Family Solicitor to join a successful firm that is based in Merseyside, on a permanent basis

Hours: Full time 37.5 hours

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Family Solicitor to join an award winning, dynamic team

The successful candidate will:

• Manage their own advocacy
• Handle a caseload of matrimonial, divorce and children matters
• Advise, assist and represent clients, maintaining an exceptionally high standard of client care at all times
• Balance the demands of clients/caseload and non-casework responsibilities; ensuring all deadlines are met
• Meet annual billing and performance targets
• Accurately record all time, chargeable and non-chargeable
• Ensure that the billing of files is carried out efficiently and at the earliest opportunity
• Ideally bring their own following
• Flexibly attend the court  

Required skills:

• 1-3 years + PQE experience within Family Law
• Detailed knowledge of Family Law
• Handle own advocacy
• Ability to manage own caseload
• Capability to identify problems and their solutions whilst working on own initiative
• Exceptional client care skills
• Flexible approach to working conditions and working environment
• Excellent time management and organisation skills
• Be proactive and self-motivated
• Be a team player
• Have the drive to progress within the team

Salary: 30-35k
