Finance Assistant

Venn Group is currently working with a Higher Education Institution based in Surrey who are looking for a Finance Assistant to positively support their busy teams. Below is a brief synopsis on the roles;
Hours: 36 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Duration: Permanent
Hybrid: 2 days in the office
Salary: £24,900 - £27,900
Day to day duties include:
- Process invoices, sales orders and expense claims
- Act as a first point of contact for customer and staff queries
- Reconcile supplier and customer statements
- Ensure accurate financial records are maintained
- Carry out reconciliations and receipting
- Allocate funds through processing
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the finance team
Essential Skills for the roles:
- Experience in a similar position, maintaining financial records
- Excellent IT skills and familiarity with databases
