Finance Assistant
An exciting position has arisen for a Finance Assistant to work for an Education Trust based in Kent.
The post holder will assist the Finance Manager in managing the day-to-day organisation of the school Budget and other School Related Accounts.
Job responsibilities:
- Work in partnership with the Finance Manager & CFO in effectively managing the school budget & other school related accounts
- Assist with the organisation and day-to-day management of all financial matters
- Support the Finance Manager to devise, prepare and set a detailed budget for approval
- Monitor the income due to the Academy, including issuing invoices and ensuring receipt
- Control and monitor the receipt of goods and services and the checking of deliveries
- Ensure the issue of prompt input of invoices onto Finance System
- Advise all staff on resourcing issues
- Ensure that all computerised records/management information systems relating to finance are maintained
What they are looking for:
- PS Financials experience
- Currently holds, or willingness to have an enhanced DBS processed
- Experience working within Education sector in a finance capacity
- Excellent communication and organisational skills

Hourly Rate: £15.00 - £20.00
Permanent Salary: £21,968 - £27,852, plus £1,401 SEN
Hours: 37 hours per week
Working pattern: Onsite 5 days a week
Role is full time (not term time)
