A position has arisen for a Finance Business Partner work for a well-known Charity. The role will report into the Finance Manager. The role will ensure a professional, customer focussed accounting service is provided to financial and non-financial members of staff
Salary: £38,000 per annum
Length: Permanent
Job responsibilities include:
- Finance business partnering to several cost centres (£10-25 million value)
- Monitoring the financial position of all cost centres and provide support to budget managers
- Being responsible for expenditure and project salary costs against budgets, liaising with budget holders to review and account for variations
- Preparing monthly management accounts and cash flow reports
- Assist with financial modelling and variance analysis
- Maintaining an accurate record of the fixed asset register
- Suggest solutions and drive improvements of business performance and considering VFM (Value for Money)
The successful candidate MUST:
- Part-qualified / qualified Accountant (CCAB)
- Have finance business partnering experience
- Have experience working in the Charity or Housing sector
- Have a minimum of 3 years accounting experience
- Experience of using a computerised financial systems and desktop packages
