An excellent international development Charity are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to head up their financial planning and analysis function. The post holder will be assisting the Head of Finance and creating annual and quarterly budgets and be a key Finance Business Partner for the organisation.
Your duties will include:
- Preparing and consolidating project and HQ budgets, cash flow forecasts, management accounts, and other reports as appropriate to provide decision makers at operational and strategic levels with accurate, timely, and useful financial information
- Liaising and effectively communicating with staff in international offices to review monthly financial performance and plan for future periods
- Preparing donor reports, ensuring that expenditure is incurred and reported in line with donor stipulations
- Leading on the maintenance and creation of existing and new complex financial models in Excel
- Supporting the Head of Finance in the provision of technical support and advice on the development of accurate budgets for inclusion in project proposals, as well as contributing advice on other financial aspects of proposals or contracts
- Working effectively with, and mentoring, other members of the team in the UK, and staff in their international offices
- Assisting with the production of year end accounts
The successful candidate MUST HAVE:
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
- Charity SORP experience (desirable)
- Financial planning an analysis experience
