Finance Manager

A well-known Charity based in Dartford is recruiting for a Finance Manager. The post holder will oversee the effective management of the Charity’s finances and financial processes  

Job responsibilities:

• Track the financial performance of the Charity against budget monthly, providing monthly financial reports, forecasts and commentary to the Trustees and individual reports to managers
• Maintain and review the asset register and inventory
•  Oversee payroll, procurement, and bookkeeping
•  ensure the timely and accurate completion of monthly finance reports and annual accounts
• To oversee the annual audit and be the auditor’s main point of contact
• Oversee the payroll scheme, including liaison with the Pension Providers

Candidate profile:

• Recognised accountancy qualification or part-qualification (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CIPFA, AAT level 4)
• Relevant accounting and management experience
• Experience of working in the Charity Sector and thorough understanding of the reporting requirements
• Excellent technical accounting skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively

Annual salary: £32,000 - £36,000 per annum

Contract type: Permanent

Location: Dartford/Kent (hybrid working option available)
