Finance Manager

Venn Group is delighted to be partnered with a leading broadcasting organisation to recruit an Interim ICFR Finance Manager.

This is a high-profile role within the Finance function, providing the opportunity to lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of a robust ICFR framework.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior finance leaders and business stakeholders to ensure financial reporting risks are fully understood, appropriate controls are in place, and governance standards are maintained at the highest level.

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Support the implementation and embedding of a robust ICFR framework in line with UK Corporate Governance requirements
• Lead process workshops to document financial statement line items (FSLIs) and assess associated risks and controls
• Conduct walkthroughs and control testing to ensure design and operational effectiveness
• Provide expert guidance to finance teams on ICFR design, remediation of deficiencies, and reporting to senior stakeholders
• Deliver ICFR training workshops to key stakeholders and support awareness of control requirements
• Manage and develop a small team of assistant managers
• Contribute to finance projects to ensure ICFR considerations are embedded from the start

Ideal candidate profile:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Expert knowledge of ICFR, ideally with experience of SOX
• Proven track record in developing, implementing, and monitoring financial controls
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage, influence, and manage expectations at senior level
• Knowledge of ITGC and ITAC controls would be an advantage

Location: London

Duration: 3 month initial interim contract, likely extension

Pay rate: £400 - £450 per day

Working hours: Full time

Working pattern: Hybrid (2 days per week on-site)
