An exciting position has arisen for a Financial Accountant (Income and Coding) to work for an Globally renowned children’s Charity.
The postholder will join the large Finance team to Deliver on financial accounting and reporting on the Charity’s directly led income streams
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Overall responsibility for directly received income streams
- Ensure donor reporting and external reporting for each grant is compliance with the donor regulations as well as the SORP requirements
- Support on the Charity’s coding project from a financial accounting perspective, including moving all stock from the inventory system across the new financial system, Agresso
- Liaise with the awards team and members where needed to ensure compliance on reporting
- Analyse and embed commodity reporting processes
- Liaise with all stakeholders and document owners to ensure appropriateness and accuracy
- To build and maintain effective relationships, with team, colleagues, Members and external partners and supporters
Ideal candidate profile:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified (Essential)
- Experience in implementing / improving group wide financial processes
- Experience of working with globally distributed teams
- Excellent Financial (or ERP) systems knowledge, ideally Unit4 Agresso
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; Confident delivering presentations and demonstrations
