Location: Portishead (Predominantly Remote Working)

Hours: 37 hours (Mon-Fri)

Our client a highly respected Housing Association in the Southwest are looking to bring in a part qualified Accountant to come in as a Financial Planning Analyst to own and be the go-to person for all things Financial Planning. The plan is a financial translation of everything we do and so you’ll be collaborating with most parts of the business.
Responsibilities include:
- Applying the plan to gauge viability of business planning and head room capacity in respect of liquidity, loan covenant, Golden Rule compliance, development, and other business improvements
- Cash flow forecasting and reporting to lenders and regulators
- Keeping the Executive team, Board, Lenders, Regulator and Rating Agency up to date regarding the plan
- Work alongside the Treasury Business Partner to provide a diligent end-to-end accounting and finance service to the development team for new development projects, from conception to completion
- Maintain and update a Financial Plan that provides long-term financial projections for the association
- Stress and mitigation test the Financial Plan
- Test Financial Plans for borrowing and development capacity as well as Loan covenant and Financial Golden Rule compliance and capacity
- Ensure that accurate and timely regulatory financial returns are made to the Regulator of Social Housing
- Uphold Alliance internal control systems including standing orders etc.
- Regularly contribute to monitoring and reporting on Alliance’s performance
- Executive, Board and Regulator reporting
- Work with the Treasury Business Partner to provide a diligent end-to-end accounting and finance service for the development team
Essential Skills:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified
- Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience using BRIXX software
- Experience within a Housing Association preferable
