Fire Safety Services Manager role available
Location: Cambridgeshire
Length of contract: 4 – 6 months
Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 per week
Main responsibilities of the role
- Act as authorised person for Fire, holding overall accountability for the defined area
- Lead a team of directly employed staff and consultants to fully implement schemes ensuring compliance is successfully achieved
- Review and update systems and strategies to ensure ongoing arrangements remain fit for purpose and compliant
- Oversee the organisation and management of remedial works as a result of the PPM regime in place
- Provide professional advice and guidance to the Estates Division as required
- Define the schedule of inspections, tests and routing maintenance that fulfils the legal requirements
- Manage a schedule of other planned maintenance outside of compliance requirements
- Liaise with site representatives
Essential requirements:
- You must have experience in the completion of surveys or inspections in relation to fire safety and have extensive knowledge of remedial works management
- Experience producing documentation to satisfy legal requirements and making managerial decisions based on the information
