Governance & Control Planning VP
Venn Group are currently recruiting for a Governance and Control Planning Analyst to join a bank in the City of London, working within their Banking Operations department, responsible for the coordination and fortification of their Governance, Risk, and Controls framework across both the London and EMEA office jurisdictions.
The ideal candidate will come from a Financial Services background with demonstrable experience working within Banking Operations and KYC positions.
The purpose of the role is to review the appropriateness of the department’s existing KYC processes and control measures, identifying areas for improvement, mitigating risks, both potential and actual, and establishing a uniformly applicable Operations and KYC Framework through which the regional offices across Europe can base their processes on.
The role-holder must appreciate the implications of acting within various international jurisdictions, and as such evidence of delivering globally diverse projects across numerous regions, dissecting and analysing.
This role requires excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills, both written and verbal; this role requires regular and ad hoc liaison with KYC, Operations, Financial Crime, and other departments. The ability to tailor and present information to specialist and non-specialist personnel across departments is essential.
