Head of Education and CPD Operations

Venn Group is working with a renowned regulatory body to recruit for a Head of Education and CPD Operations on a 9 months interim contract. The successful postholder will be responsible for leading the Education and Continued Professional Development (CPD) functions, and contribute to the wider management of the organisation.

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Oversee the delivery of the organisation’s statutory CPD related activities
• Ensure the organisation carries out its statutory role of approving and quality assuring education qualifications effectively and efficiently
• Oversee the management of the organisation’s panel of education visitors
• Build and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders, including education and CPD providers, and professional bodies
• Hold responsibility for developing and maintaining the budget
• Develop and manage performance against the team’s business plan and performance standards
• Identify and manage risks, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and processes
• Line management of the team
• Support with wider work across the team as required

Ideal candidate profile:

• Substantial operational and people management experience
• Experience of CPD and/or quality assurance of higher education
• Experience of process improvement and policy development
• Ability to build effective working relationships and influence at all levels
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Rate: £250- £300 a day PAYE

Working hours: Full time

Working pattern: Home based, occasional travel to office
