An NHS Organisation based in London is looking to appoint an experienced Head of Organisational Development and Staff Engagement for an interim contract, this will be for 3 months initially, subject to further extensions. The appointed candidate will need to be available to start mid-June 2022 for a handover period with the current post holder.
This is a senior role leading on organisational development (OD) and staff engagement. The post holder will work with the Deputy Director to ensure delivery of high standards of customer focused organisational development and help co-create and deliver a compelling offer of culture change, leadership, talent management and staff engagement
Salary: £245 – £311 daily rate (inside IR35)
Duration: 3-month interim contract initially
Location: London / Hybrid working
Your duties will include:
- Provide specialist advice on OD and staff engagement across the trust
- Develop positive relationships with internal stakeholders, role modelling enabling behaviours and foster a culture of trust and psychological safety
- Provide leadership in the development and implementation of culture change programmes in 2 partnership with workforce colleagues and senior managers
- Design, commission, evaluate and manage delivery of leadership and OD programmes aligned to the Trust strategy to support high performing teams
- Act as an internal consultant to support leaders in applying coaching, team development, facilitation, talent management and other OD interventions
- Lead the implementation of the staff engagement strategy in partnership with the communications team
- Provide analysis of workforce interventions to inform strategy development
The successful candidate MUST:
- Have experience working within OD at a senior level, ideally within the NHS or a similar organisation
- Experience of implementing staff surveys and dealing with focus groups
- Experience of leadership and management development
- Experience of Wellbeing and Inclusion
