A well-established NHS Trust are looking for a dynamic and well-experienced HR professional to join their friendly team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead on the development of an organisation wide resourcing strategies that reflects the future needs of service delivery (e.g. growth or reduction in services, future skill mix shortage areas)
- Manage and develop the Trust’s resourcing function, ensuring that key linkages are made within the teams and strong relationships built with operational services to try and achieve an efficient and well-resourced workforce
- Working with the senior management teams and HRBP’s, to identify areas of recruitment difficulty, or areas of future growth and reduction, and work collaboratively to produce recruitment and retention plans to address issues identified
- Develop and lead the implementation of the Trust’s long term resourcing (recruitment) strategy to ensure the effective delivery of the Trust Strategic Plan and People Strategy
- Develop and lead the implementation of the Trust’s temporary staffing strategy with a focus on reducing the reliance on temporary staffing and in particular expensive agency spend, working closely with other relevant teams to examine the e-rostering system and how that system is being used
- To implement the People Strategy within the scope of the role, developing action plans for delivery
- To develop and provide expect advice on all aspects of staff recruitment practice including the development of a range of recruitment, media and selection tools within the Trust
- Responsible for the design and delivery of specific recruitment campaigns and individual projects, exploring in particular the use of technology in recruitment
Essential skills:
- CIPD qualified
- Proven HR experience in a similar capacity
Desirable skills:
- Previous NHS experience
- Experience of workforce planning
