Permanent Head of Service Opportunity

One of our clients are currently recruiting for a permanent Head of Service for their complex learning disabilities/autism supported living services across North East London.

Length:                       Permanent

Salary:                        £65,000 - £70,000 per annum

Hours:                        35 hours a week

The role involves:

• Overseeing the operational delivery and quality of complex learning disability services
• Ensuring all services are run effectively and are well managed financially
• Providing effective visible leadership, ensuring challenging objectives are set
• Focusing on external stakeholder management, maintaining and building new relationships
• Ensuring services are CQC inspection ready
• Responsible for ensuring Service Managers deliver on budget
• Effectively managing safeguarding incidents insuring the appropriate escalation of any emerging risks
• Working with the Deputy Director of Growth to ensure the organisation continues to develop its offering within learning disability
• Project leading service implementations and decommissions

 Essential requirements:

• Relevant experience of working with complex needs, transforming care services within learning disabilities services provision
• Strong understanding of PBS framework and implementation within services
• Knowledge of CQC
• The ideal candidate will be resilient, with a “can do” attitude and who is able to lead their team from the front
