**New Opportunity - Health and Safety Manager**

Venn Group is representing an NHS Foundation Trust to recruit for a Health and Safety Manager. The role is crucial in leading the development of the Health and Safety agenda for the Trust, including supporting the completion of risk assessments, acting as subject matter expert, training staff and managing the Trust Health and Safety Risk Register. 

Duties:

- Act as subject matter expert for the trust to oversee the provision of professional expertise, advice and guidance on all matters relating to health and safety

- Co-ordinate specific health and safety workstreams for the Trust

- Support the delivery of a programmes across the Trust including carrying out audits and assessments and following up on health and safety incidents 

- Support the principal health and safety specialist in providing expert advice and in supporting clinical, operational and management staff on best practice risk management methodologies and the processes to identify, assess, mitigate and escalate health and safety risks

Candidate Profile:

- Significant experience managing health and safety agendas and functions 

- Experience implementing risk management strategies

- Experience developing and delivering education/development programmes

- NHS experience

Title: Corporate Health and Safety Manager
Daily rate: £213.77 PAYE inc holiday pay or £238.44 via umbrella company
Location: North west London
Contract: 14 months (maternity cover)
