High Stability Accommodation Worker

An excellent Support Provider in Bristol are recruiting for a High Stability Accommodation Worker to join their homelessness and complex needs team. The post holder will deliver recovery and wellbeing opportunities for people with complex mental health conditions and other support needs.

Hours: 37 per week
Salary: £23,697 - £25,903

Day to day responsibilities include:
- Co-produce, implement and review support and safety and wellbeing plans, including wellness recovery action plans, crisis plans and other self-management tools in partnership with service users
- Case manage and co-ordinate support, referring and liaising effectively with all professionals, agencies and other parties involved in service user’s support in order to deliver the support package and appropriate interventions
- Work closely with colleagues with the service and build strong partnership working with other agencies such as Health and Social Care, Voluntary and Community Services, Criminal Justices agencies and support/facilitate service users to access services
- Have up-to-date safeguarding training and ensure that Safeguarding policies and procedures are fully adhered to and that a Think Family approach is embedded within working practice
- Enable service users to make informed decisions about their mental wellbeing, maximising their independence and providing advocacy where appropriate
- Work in a culturally sensitive way for all service users, challenging stigma and discrimination
- Participate actively in supervision and reflective practice. Proactively seek advice and support from colleagues and other agencies as relevant
- Manage caseload, documentation and time effectively, ensuring up to date and clear record keeping in line with policies
Essential criteria include:
- A minimum of two years’ significant experience working with people with mental health needs, or people with complex needs
- Current enhanced DBS
- Driver with access to your own vehicle (Desirable)
