Interim Data Analyst
Based in London, hybrid working – days TBC
Length: 3 months
We’re looking for a skilled and detail-driven Housing Needs Research and Data Analyst to lead data-driven initiatives that support homelessness prevention and housing strategy delivery.
Key Responsibilities of the Housing Data Analyst:
- Manage and run data systems, producing accurate and timely reports to inform decision-making and improve service delivery.
- Lead data analysis and business intelligence activities across key housing projects and programmes.
- Design and implement Power BI dashboards and reports for performance monitoring and strategic insight.
- Use data to predict demand, identify issues, and recommend innovative solutions to improve housing services.
- Provide specialist advice and guidance to senior leaders, contributing to Cabinet reports and strategic planning.
- Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and data governance standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver research, consultations, and performance returns.
Skills, experience and knowledge required of the Housing Data Analyst:
- Strong knowledge of data analysis, statistical techniques, and performance management systems.
- Experience using SQL/T-SQL and Power BI for data manipulation and reporting.
- Proven ability to interpret complex datasets and present findings in accessible formats.
- Understanding of housing needs, homelessness services, and local government context is desirable.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Recognised qualification in data analysis or equivalent experience.
