Housing Disrepair Lawyer
Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with a Local Authority based in London, who are recruiting for a Housing Disrepair Lawyer within their well-established Disrepair Team.
Role Details:
- Full time
- 3 month rolling contract
- Competitive rates
Responsibilities of the Housing Disrepair Lawyer:
- Handling claims involving disrepair
- Dealing with claims and counter claims as well as EPA Cases
- To undertake litigation arising out of the councils Housing functions including claims for statutory nuisance, possession actions and Injunctions and appeals
- Provision of proactive legal advice on all aspects of housing disrepair, Nuisance, negligence and general housing law
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working as a Housing Disrepair Lawyer within Local Government
- Solicitors, Barristers and people with a CILEX qualification will be considered
- Hold a current Practising Certificate
- The ability to attend the office once a week
