Interim Housing Officer required
Our prestigious housing provider based in Bristol is looking for an experienced Housing Officer to join them on a temporary basis initially.

Location: Bristol/North Somerset
Duration: 3 Months (temp to perm)
Hours: 37 hours - Mon to Fri (9am – 5pm)
Salary: £24,000 - £28,000
Responsibilities:
- The Housing Officer role is to deliver generic housing management services across a patch of around 300 properties
- Manage rent collection and income maximisation, empty homes management, shared ownership enquiries, reports of antisocial behaviour and customer engagement and involvement
- Responsible for all neighbourhood Management for a patch, including all tenancies and leasehold management
- Act as first point of contact for all tenants and investigate any enquiries or complaints
- Handle all aspects of rent arrears recovery and aid tenants with housing and benefits advice
- Complete tenancy sign-ups, deal with any breaches of tenancies and take enforcement action
- Investigate all anti-social behaviour cases, mediate between parties and liaise with the ASB team
- Prepare paperwork for court and write NTQ’s and NOSP’s
- Signpost vulnerable tenants to external support agencies
- Conduct home visits and carry out building inspections and report repairs with the maintenance teams
Essentials:
- Experience as a Housing Officer
- Understanding and ability to use IT and Microsoft packages
- A Driver with access to own vehicle
- An enhanced DBS
