Housing Officer

Venn Group are recruiting for a Housing Officer for a reputable Housing Association to join their teamon a 1 year contract. The post holder will provide effective tenancy management across a geographical patch, ensuring that all housing management functions are completed to a high standard. They will provide a valuable service to the community and ensure that tenants and families supported through challenging circumstances throughout Bournemouth

Location: Bournemouth (Hybrid)

Length: 1 Year (commencing July 1^st)

Hours: 37.5, 9-5 Monday to Friday

Pay: £19.46 (Via Umbrella)

Duties to include:

• Manage the tenancy and leasehold agreements for the Housing Office portfolio
• Provide advice and support to tenants and leaseholders on their rights and responsibilities
• Liaise with other departments and agencies to resolve tenancy and leasehold issues
• Monitor rent and service charge accounts and take appropriate action to recover arrears
• Conduct regular estate inspections and report any repairs or maintenance issues
• Deal with complaints, anti-social behaviour, and neighbour disputes in a timely and effective manner
• Promote tenant and leaseholder involvement and consultation in the delivery of housing services
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of tenancy and leasehold transactions and correspondence
• Prepare reports and statistics on tenancy and leasehold management performance
• Undertake any other duties as required by the Housing Office Manager or Senior Housing Officer 

Essential Skills:

• Driver with access to own vehicle
• DBS on update service or within the last 12 months
• Experience in a similar housing management capacity
• Experience in a supported housing capacity
