Housing Support Worker Required – Leicester
Duration: Permanent
Location: Leicester – Mountsorrel
Hours: Full Time 37.5hrs
Pay Rate: £20,315
An opening has arisen for a Housing Support Worker to be based in Mountsorrel. Said individual will have sound knowledge of understanding Tenancies and support those within them to maintain them.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Support people in their home to maintain their tenancy
- Help customers maximising their income through benefit applications / accessing grants/funds
- Access local community groups
- Set up utilities
- Sustaining a tenancy
- Good understanding of housing related support and benefits
- Strong IT skills and ability to work flexibly
- Working alongside multiple managers overseeing up to 100 staff members
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience working in this position
- Full licence with access to a vehicle
