An exciting position has arisen for a HR Administrative Assistant to work for a School based near Twickenham.
The post holder will carry out a wide range of administrative duties to support the Human Resources Department function including recruitment, professional development, policies and employee welfare.
Job responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative support for the full recruitment process including; setting up candidate databases, collating and logging job applications, requesting and verifying references, and candidate liaison
- Supporting with pre-employment administration for all new staff including safeguarding checks and the onboarding process
- Assisting with the administration of personnel records and data
- Supporting HR-related training programmes, workshops and seminars including issuing invitations and recording attendance
- Maintaining training records for all staff and confirmation logs for documentation issued to staff, chasing outstanding returns as required
- Compiling and maintaining paper, digital and electronic employee records, including holiday and sickness leaves
- Responding to internal and external inquiries and requests received into to the HR department
What they are looking for:
- Previous experience in the education sector, with enhanced DBS on the update system (Desirable)
- Good ICT skills, including the ability to use a range of relevant software packages such as Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook and to navigate training platforms and MIS
