HR Administrator
A leading Further Education Federation in South London is hiring for a HR Administrator. This position is centred around onboarding new joiners into our Head Office departments ensuring hiring managers are kept up to date on new starters and any tasks are completed where required.
Job responsibilities:
- Administration of the onboarding process for Head Office appointments; reference requests, new starter forms, right to work check, qualification checks and an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service
- To be the first point of contact for onboarding queries, liaising with academies, internal and external providers and escalating as appropriate
- Drafting employment contracts and completing new starter set up requirements; inputting employee details on payroll portal, arranging IT and phone equipment, issuing building security passes etc
- Support with projects, initiatives and helping to develop resources for training new HR staff in academies
- Providing administrative support to the Head of HR, HR Business Partners and HR Advisors
- Assisting with the maintenance of the probation monitoring process for Head Office
Candidate profile:
- Demonstratable experience in a busy administrative role
- Analytical – the ability to use data to drive decision making and track progress
- Knowledge of up to date Employment Law
- Ability to be trusted with highly confidential information
Annual salary: £26,000 - £28,000
Contract type: Permanent
Working hours: Full time, hybrid working (4 days onsite, 1 day from home)
Location: South London
