HR Advisor

Venn Group are pleased to be working with one of our highly-regarded Healthcare clients in the Hertfordshire area, to source a proactive and engaging interim HR Advisor for an initial three-month period. This role is paying £18 per hour + holiday pay.
Your duties will include:
- Effectively handling and ER caseload, ensuring the timely resolution of a range of matters including disciplinary, grievance, dignity at work and absence cases
- Delivering effective operational HR practice and people solutions to line managers across a range of departments
- Supporting the ER Manager in delivering formal and informal workshops to managers with the aim of improving confidence and competency in dealing with employee relations matters
- Keeping abreast of developments in employment legislation, case law and codes of practice in the UK and Europe, and using this information to inform policy and best practice
- Taking a proactive approach to absence management, using key metrics to identify any patterns/trends
- Ensuring case files are kept up to date in line with Data Protection regulations and the HR departmental standards
The successful candidate should have:
- Background in the social care/healthcare sectors (desirable)
- Sound understanding of employment law
- Experience managing an ER caseload
This role is ideally suited to an experienced HR professional who is keen to hit the ground running in an interim assignment
