Venn Group is currently assisting a School who are looking for an Administrator to join their collaborative team of 5 Administrators, reporting directly to the School Business Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare the exam hall for exams, e.g. assign the correct seat to each student
- Set out the rules to the students before the exam
- Photocopy passed papers ready for mock exams
- Take in deliveries of papers for the official GCSE exams
- Support managers and team leaders on all recruitment matters
- Monitor employee records including, maternity, paternity requests and absence and sickness and regular reports to the senior management team
- Take responsibility for personnel files, ensuring they are maintained and updated regularly with a detailed record of all staff checks kept
- Maintain an update job descriptions for all positions and assist with recruitment
- Enter pupils details for BTEC courses
- Produce and distribute an annual calendar for exams and related deadlines
Successful candidate:
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to multitask and prioritise workload
- Competent user to MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Confident communicator, both verbal & written
- Previous administration experience
