Venn Group is currently recruiting for a HR & Training Administrator for a Private Sector Organisation based in Rugby. This role is a permanent contract working 37.5 hours a week.
This will pay a salary of £28,500.
This job role will be a hybrid position working 4 days on site and 1 day from home.
Duties:
- Managing and updating HR and training records in the HR system including absences, holidays, training attendance, certificates and qualifications ensuring accuracy and integrity of data is maintained and that legal compliance and data protection regulations are met
- Manage the new joiner process including recruitment documentation, offers of employment, pre-employment questionnaires, DSE assessments, joining instructions and induction
- Provide support, advice and guidance to employees and their line managers on a range of policies and procedures and HR related issues including absence to support understanding and ensure effective communication of good HR practice
- Organise leavers arrangements including acknowledge resignation letter, retrieval of company property, notifying the appropriate departments and suppliers. Undertaking exit interviews and analysing the data and identifying trends
- Support the Learning & Development team to successfully implement graduate, apprentice and other professional and academic programmes and engage with Line Managers to ensure all new graduates, summer placements and apprentices are prepared for their first day
- Provide the HR Business Partner with administration support for employee relations and organisational change issues including meeting invite letters, taking notes in meetings, and calculating statutory pay entitlements
- Provide data and metrics for, and prepare monthly management information reports and audits
- Responsibility for analysing feedback collected from exit interviews, employee engagement surveys and other feedback mechanisms identifying trends. Co-ordinate feedback for improvements/changes/concerns identified
- Manage CITB grant claims to ensure maximisation of grant recovery
- Working closely with other departments and external providers to regularly reconcile data including the payroll department, healthcare provider and car scheme provider communicating any changes to in line with deadlines
- Produce reports and data as required, consolidating data from different sources
- Co-ordinate training requests gaining the necessary approvals, booking training courses, raise requisitions, liaise with approved training providers and communicate joining instructions to delegates and reporting costs against the training budget
