HR Information System Analyst
A leading University based in London is recruiting a HRIS Analyst. The post-holder will support the maintenance, management, reporting and integrity of HR data. This will require a knowledge of, and experience with producing and analysing data, a thorough understanding of data quality principles as well as good IT skills, particularly in the use of database and spreadsheets.
Job responsibilities:
- Produce high quality management information on a scheduled or ad-hoc basis
- Provide data to support HR processes, such as Equality Impact Assessments & University charter applications
- Create reports and train University colleagues on the reporting functions of HR systems
- Produce guidance on the use of HR System
- Act as a super-user of all HR systems, taking a key role in the day to day operations of the HRIS Team, including the support of end users and the maintenance of systems functionality as well as maintaining guidance notes and user procedures across all systems
- Assist the HRIS Team in the testing and implementation of systems patches
- Ensure that bulk update processes are run in a timely manner
Candidate profile:
- Good level of knowledge of HR systems and reporting tools
- Broad understanding of Higher Education sector working practices would be beneficial
- Ability to manipulate, analyse and present data in MS Excel in order to provide comprehensive management information in line with timetabled commitments
- Ability to familiarise rapidly with new reporting tools and new database systems
Annual salary: £32,411 - £39,592
Contract type: Fixed Term for 18 months
Working hours: Full-time
Location: London (hybrid working – 3 days on site, 2 days working from home)
