HR Manager

Venn Group is currently recruiting for a HR Manager for an NHS organisation based in Birmingham. This role is initially for 3 months with a possibility of extension.  

This role will be on site for the first couple of weeks and then a hybrid split can be accommodated thereafter. This will be a full-time position paying £23.57/ inclusive of holiday day PAYE or £26.82/hr via umbrella.

Duties:

• Participate in negotiations and agreements with managers, staff and representatives regarding the process for organisational and workforce change in designated work areas
• Ensure that the workforce plan for the designated area is agreed, costed and fully implemented
• Ensure that Cost Improvement Plans are delivered from a workforce perspective
• Provide strategic, specialised advice to drive the business operational plans within the Trust on the HR impacts and implications or short to long term business planning
• Provide HR advice and leadership on complex issues such as TUPE transfers and external secondments; ensure that technical and legal issues are fully considered
• Negotiating and consulting on shift patterns with staff and implementing and monitoring compliant shifts patterns
• Ensure changes and amendments in policy, legislation and procedure are reflected in working practices
• Support investigations into disciplinary, grievance, harassment and bullying complaints across the Trust. Act as a hearing officer for hearings and appeals, also provide expert HR advice and support to senior mangers and external agencies as required
• Provide comprehensive and professional HR advice and support to senior managers and staff across the Trust, investigating and advising on complex employment issues
