HR Support Assistant
We are currently working with a very well-known not-for-profit organisation in Central London to recruit for an exciting new HR Support Assistant Position
The successful post holder will aid in support the small but busy HR Team with a number of projects during an exciting transition period
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for an opportunity to gain some great HR experience within the Charity sector
Job Responsibilities:
- Dealing with day-to-day administration, such as photocopying, scanning, electronic filing and archiving. This will involve a specific project to transfer hard copy data to the SharePoint server
- Maintaining both electronic and paper-based HR records (including volunteers) as appropriate
- Using Microsoft Word to update and produce personal file documents and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to update databases as directed
- Maintaining and archiving the various HR mailboxes as appropriate
- Other HR duties as needed
Person Specification:
- Excellent experience within an administrative role
- A good standard of written and verbal communication skills
- Well organised with effective time management
- Basic understanding of the requirements of Data Protection legislation in relation to the confidential handling of employee and volunteer documentation
- Excellent IT skills, with experience of using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel to a proficient standard
- Flexible approach, able to work additional hours (occasionally) as circumstances demand
Hourly Rate: £15-17 inclusive of Holiday Pay
Contract Type: 6-month contract
Hours: 32 Hours Per week
