Our client is seeking two HR Transformation Leads to join HR Operations who support the council with its transformational change programmes. In this pivotal role, you will play a central part in evolving and implementing change working closely with managers and other key stakeholders. You will be able to see the bigger picture, whilst also getting involved to proactively develop and deliver project outcomes which enable meaningful change, where everyone feels valued and respected.
As a HR Transformation Lead you will be an excellent team player who is eager to work collaboratively, sharing your knowledge and supporting others. Working alongside the HR Business Partner network on council wide complex transformational and cultural change you will provide a consistent and quality approach to service redesigns, redundancy processes and redeployment support.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as a lead on change programmes, coordinating the development and planning of agreed plans to support implementation
- Being a subject matter expert, supporting departments to implement change programmes in line with legislative requirements and best practice
- Implement engagement strategies throughout change programmes to support cultural and behavioural change across the council
- Coordinating and implementing redundancy, redeployment and flexible working solutions
- Upskilling managers by developing and implementing learning opportunities, working with the Learning and Development colleagues
- Approaching all situations with a professional and objective mindset
- Working within a remote team and ensuring teamwork is strong
What skills & experience do you need?
- Relevant degree or CIPD Level 5 with relevant supporting experience
- Proven practical experience of managing change in a HR role
- Experience of supporting change in a unionised environment
- Effective project management experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- A high level of emotional intelligence and personal resilience
- A proactive and results-oriented approach, with a commitment to driving positive change.
