ICT Support Officer

We are working with a public sector organisation in North London who are looking for a Deskside Engineer to help support the team in their BAU operations.
Core deliverables of this post include:
- To be the first point of contact for telephone, face to face and email enquiries from system users. To use an ICT helpdesk/service desk system to log and manage service requests and incidents
- To be the first point of contact for telephone, face to face and email enquiries from system users. To use an ICT helpdesk/service desk system to log and manage service requests and incidents
- To install and change software/hardware on computers
- To be responsible for user account management, which includes creating, modifying and removing user, accounts including the IP telephone accounts and Office 365 user administration
- Take delivery and roll out IT equipment. Maintaining asset register and software register
- To check and monitor backup logs on a daily basis
Required skills/experience includes:
- Strong experience of providing first and second level of IT support in a support desk environment
- Experience of using ICT service desk or ticketing system including allocating service requests and incidents
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and its integration with on premise environment
- Some knowledge of Exchange Online, Azure Active Directory, Intune MDM, Teams and SharePoint environment is highly desirable
