In-House Solicitor

Housing Litigation – Property/Conveyancing – in-house Solicitor – Housing Association – Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor to join a Housing Association on a permanent basis as the resident in-house Solicitor for the organisation. You will be the sole Solicitor at the organisation but will be supported by a Legal Executive and a Paralegal.

The role is a generalist role, focusing on property, conveyancing and housing litigation law.

Expectations:

• Handling property transactions
• dealing with:
• land acquisitions 
• property development 
• landlord and tenant matters - Anti-Social Behaviour, injunctions and possession proceedings
• Advocating for the Association in the Courts
• Overseeing the overall documentation , records of land ownership and deeds

Expertise requirements:

• Must be a Qualified Solicitor: minimum 3 years PQE 

Working arrangement: 

full time and hybrid - however offering flexibility to amount of travel required

Salary: 50,000 - 52,000
