Income Administrator
A leading London university is recruiting for an Income Administrator. The post holder will play a key role in ensuring all income due to the University is identified, recorded promptly and accurately and managed effectively.
Position: Income Administrator
Location: London (hybrid working)
Duration: 3 months with the potential to go permanent
Salary: £32,000 - £39,000 (paid on an hourly basis equivalent)
Start Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide customer-focused service to staff, students, and other customers, handling income-related queries and monitoring the Income inbox
- Manage and operate systems for administering income streams, ensuring accurate and prompt identification and recording of all university income
- Allocate and reconcile customer payments, resolve discrepancies, and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded, including online, bank transfers, cheques, and credit cards
- Allocate income from all income streams for the university
- Administer refunds according to university policy and regulations, and provide procedural advice to college staff, students, and other payees
- Assist with preparing and reviewing monthly income and debt management reports for accurate and timely result reporting
Person specification:
- Experience working in an income/ accounts receivable role
- Confident completing reconciliations and processing refunds
- Experience working within the Higher Education sector
- Experience using financial management and student record systems
