Information Analyst – Leeds (Hybrid Working)

Venn Group’s North East IT team are recruiting for experienced Information Analyst’s to join a fantastic organisation! If you are an analytical thinker with a passion for data and research, look no further!
Location: Leeds (Hybrid working)
Rate: £125 – 145 per day (dependant on PAYE or Umbrella)
Duration: 6 months initially
Start: Immediate
Responsibilities:
- Information Management and Analysis: Taking charge of information systems to monitor and track awards, ensuring data quality, completeness, and accuracy. This includes managing financial and workforce data, individual and institute awards, and reports.
- Data Standards and Quality: Ensuring adherence to data standards and quality, including accurate coding and classification of awards, and compliance with agreed Data Standards.
- Reporting and Visualisation: Preparing detailed and accurate data reports and statistics on awards, as well as creating information visualisations for various stakeholders.
- Engagement: Collaborating with award holders, host organizations, and external contacts to gather, analyse, and communicate information effectively.
- System Development: Assisting in the management and development of information systems, databases, and procedures to track and monitor trainees and programmes.
- Communication: Providing guidance and support to staff and external stakeholders in using information systems and application forms, ensuring data quality.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A degree (or equivalent experience) in a social science, health science, mathematics, or relevant research methodology discipline
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Windows operating systems and MS Office applications (especially Excel)
- Experience in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Qlikview or Excel (desirable)
- Knowledge of information management systems and analysis tools
- Understanding of public sector health research and its management
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
- Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work flexibly as part of a team
- Proven track record in project management and organizing complex workloads
- Advanced keyboard skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
